The Good Shepherd invites us to rest awhile among the grassy meadows and flowing streams. He wants us to relax in his presence — to be nourished, strengthened and renewed. In this place, we may turn from a closed fist of denial, frustration and turmoil to an open hand of acceptance, relaxation and serenity.

Come rest amongst the abundance of Southwood Farm.

Relax into prayer and rest.

Leave renewed.

On this Quiet Day, we will explore the theme “This, too, is prayer.

You will have time and space to explore new types of prayer and revisit familiar ones.

Modes offered will include fixed hour prayer, lectio divina, praying with poetry, walking prayer, visio divina and breath prayer.

If your prayer life feels stale, this day invites you to enter in fresh ways. If your prayer life is deep and rich, come away for time in an inviting space.

Join us!

It was truly a life changing experience. I’m moving into this year with more hope and intention than I would have without this time to pray and reflect.
